Do You Need a Repair or a Full Replacement?

We use a sewer camera and locator to find the problem, then walk you through whether it’s a spot repair, a trenchless solution, or a full replacement. You only pay to fix what your line actually needs.
Traditional Replacement

Full excavation along the sewer line. Used when the pipe is collapsed, severely deteriorated or too damaged for trenchless methods, and a new section needs to be installed.
Trenchless Pipe Burst

A new full-size pipe is pulled through the old one, breaking it outward and taking its place. Access is through two smaller pits instead of a long open trench, and it works when the existing pipe path is intact.
Not sure which you need? Every job starts with a camera inspection so we recommend and perform the right level of repair for your home.

Sewer Repair Questions

How much does sewer repair cost?
It depends on the type of repair, pipe depth, length of the run and how easy the line is to access. Spot repairs typically range from about $4,500 to $12,500. Trenchless pipe bursting usually runs $11,500 to $20,000. Full excavation replacement starts around $8,500 and can go higher depending on the job. We give you an upfront price after the camera inspection, before any work starts. Financing is available.
What are the signs I need sewer line repair?
Slow drains throughout the house, sewage odors inside or outside, gurgling sounds from drains, wet spots or sinkholes in the yard, and repeated backups after cleaning are common signs of a sewer line problem. If you are seeing more than one of these, the sewer line is the most likely cause.
Do you offer trenchless sewer repair?
Yes. If the existing pipe path is intact, we can pull a new pipe through the old one using pipe bursting. That uses two small access pits instead of a long open trench. Not every job qualifies, which is why we run a camera inspection first to confirm eligibility.
How long does sewer repair take?
Spot repairs are usually completed in a day. Trenchless pipe bursting typically takes two to three days. Full excavation replacement can take several days to a week or more, depending on depth, length and whether sidewalk or street cuts are involved.
Will you dig up my whole yard?
Only if we have to. Most jobs are either a spot repair with one small excavation or a trenchless pipe burst with two access pits. When full excavation replacement is needed, we explain why. We always start with the camera to find the exact damage so we dig only where it is needed.
How do I know if I need a repair or a full replacement?
The camera inspection tells us. If the damage is isolated, a spot repair is usually enough. If the pipe is collapsed, back‑pitched or deteriorated along most of its length, replacement is the right call, either with trenchless pipe bursting or full excavation. We show you the footage and walk you through the options before you decide.
Do you warranty the work?
Yes. Every sewer repair comes with a lifetime workmanship warranty for as long as you own your home. If you sell, the warranty transfers to the new homeowner for one year. We also run a final camera inspection after the repair to verify the line is clear and flowing before we close the job. Full warranty details are in the Terms and Conditions link in the footer.
Can you do sewer repair same day?
We offer same‑day sewer diagnostics, and we can usually start work the same day, even while permits are pending. For emergencies, we can often get you temporarily flowing within a few hours by digging a sewer relief pit so your home’s sewage has somewhere to drain while we work on the repair. In most cases, you can use your sewer almost the entire length of the project as normal, with no need to leave your home.
